The Robust Runner Programme is a progressive strength and conditioning plan developed by elite coaches Dane Mitchell and Maj Skok in collaboration with performance physiotherapist Oli Williamson. Built on years of experience working with Olympic champions and everyday runners, this programme is designed to improve your running performance by building full-body strength, robustness, and running efficiency. Each week features two intelligently structured sessions, combining dynamic warm-ups, mobility, activation, plyometrics, and strength work tailored to the needs of runners. With exercise variations for all levels and monthly progression built in, you’ll develop the robustness to run stronger, faster and for longer, with confidence.

Robust triathlete

The Robust Triathlete Programme is a complete strength and conditioning system built to enhance your swim, bike, and run performance while aiming to keep you consistently healthy and able to train. Developed by elite coaches and a Triathlon specialist physiotherapist with years of experience supporting high-performance endurance athletes, this programme focuses on building the strength and robustness to thrive through Triathlon training and competition. Each week includes two targeted gym sessions that combine mobility, plyometrics, strength training, and robustness exercises. Every exercise is selected to support specific qualities needed for swimming, cycling, and running, helping you develop a resilient, well-rounded body that can handle higher training volumes with reduced injury risk. The outcome: you stay available to train, improve consistency, and unlock better long-term performance. To further support your training, the programme includes a weekly trunk (core) and hip circuit, designed as a short, effective add-on to any swim, bike, or run session. In addition, an optional mobility and myofascial release session is programmed each week to help you move well, recover better, and feel good throughout your training cycle. The programme progresses month to month, with carefully planned training cycles and exercise progressions that ensure you develop strength, power, coordination, and resilience in a systematic, sustainable way. This isn’t just about getting stronger, it's about becoming a more Robust triathlete who can train consistently, perform confidently, and reach your goals.

The Robust Foundation Programme is a clear, accessible introduction to strength and conditioning, designed by elite S&C coaches Dane Mitchell and Maj Skok in collaboration with performance physiotherapist Oli Williamson. With experience supporting Olympic champions and everyday athletes alike, this programme helps you build the strength, coordination, and robustness needed to train consistently and perform with confidence—no matter your sport or starting point. Across two structured sessions per week, you’ll develop full-body mobility, stability, plyometric readiness, unilateral strength, and trunk robustness. Each month progresses carefully in difficulty and variation, ensuring steady, sustainable improvement without overwhelming your training load. The programme is fully home-friendly, requiring only simple equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, and common household items, making it easy for anyone to build a strong, resilient foundation.
